Who is Maha Kali
Kali is a Hindu goddess is also known as Kalika and most of the peoples associate kali with death, time and doomsday this is one side of Maha Kali but on other side Maha Kali also considered a as strong mother figure and symbolic of motherly love. Most of peoples think that Kali means black, but Kali means not black, but the word “Kali” derived from Sanskrit word “Kaal” means “time” and Kaal devour all thing with the passage of time. Blue color of Maha Kali represents the endless and infinite cosmos so how can we cover infinite thing with finite thing that’s why Mahan Kali also known as “Digambari”. In waist of Maha Kali string of hands shows that the time of ill deeds of these hands end. In neck string of skulls shows that you conquered all their terrible thoughts and after death their soul merging in you. Onforehead crescent moon represent that you are the source of life. Maha Kali white teeth represents righteousness(satav), red tongue represents mortal virtue(rajas) and the whole form of Maha Kali represents darkens(tamas). Fierce form of Maha Kali represents that she is end and beginning as a great mother. Maha Kali upper right arm represents fearlessness and lower right arm blesses devotes with boon that shows that Maha Kali protect their children and complete their desires, Maha Kali upper left hand with scimitar destroy ignorance and lower left arm with cut head shows the end of arrogance, impiety, ignorance, and sinners who live in head.
